This magical gem of a shop in Berkeley, California had me wrapped around its crafty little finger.... beautifully merchandised and curated with a touch of humor Tail of the Yak was chock full of all the little wonders that gets my wandering heart beating fast....hand-crafted paper radish cluster filled with surprises? Yes, please.

Hello WE:
Eheu [which you will of course remember from your Latin classes].

Just when we were starting to think we had so much in common where interiors and lifestyle are concerned only to find........well, of course, if you must have radishes outside of a salad, or trifles away from a pudding, then....!

For some reason I'm getting a flash of a movie where a tall woman, in quite a drunken state, tells a man that she is going to feed him to the yak. I'll have a side of radishes with that.

Oh no dear Jane and Lance! I hope my surprise-carrying paper radish bundle did not turn you away from DoaWE forever! Please, please, please do not wander too far away!

Dear Michael....now my curiosity is piqued! You must tell me the name of this film. Radishes coming right up.

Just remembered - the movie was Breakfast at Tiffany's. The scene was the party at Holly's and the woman was Madge Wildwood. She tells her date that she is going to feed him to the yak as soon as she is done with her drink. She drinks and then falls face forward as the party continues...
