Rhyme nor Reason: State Fair

I've always loved color photographs from the 40's and 50's.  It's as if the world was rendered in a completely different set of colors....a box of Magic Markers heavy on the 'magic'... add a State Fair to the colorful equation and my eyes are shiny bright with joy....Teddy the Wrestling Bear, a man in profile against a wall of orange and three lovely ladies from the "Girlie" show....what more could a wandering eye want?

Hello WE:
Well, in answer to your question, if truth be told, a great deal more!

A thought comes to mind. Do you suppose the 'Girlie' show is, or was, an early drag act and the three are, or were, just resting during the interval?

As for the Wrestling Bear, that could prove to be very dangerous indeed. No, the circus life is not for us.

Guess I won't be seeing the two of you under the glamourous big top! I'll be the one in the sparkling costume, scooting across the high wire with, hopefully, a well-woven net far below.... or perhaps a fetching strong man with open arms or simply a bevy of hearty "gals" from the "Girlie" show...wink wink.
