Distraction: A Single Man

Finally got around to watching A Single Man after enduring numerous social occasions when the film was referenced and I had to admit that no,  I had not seen Tom Ford's directorial debut.  Cue questioning looks of shock here.   Now: 1. Have new found respect for the acting talents of Colin Firth and have not been able to shake the image of him, in that chair, moments after the phone call. 2. Am in even deeper love with the incredible Julianne Moore although I found her screen time far too short and her character painfully sad.  3. Want to move to Southern California, live in mid-century modern splendor, wear skinny ties and go skinny dipping under a starless sky.

Yes, DH, 'stick' is the perfect word. I cannot get this haunting film out of my head....I am stuck but pleasantly so.
