I can appreciate the subtlety of a monochromatic palette just as much as the next person and there are moments when all I want to look at are moody muddy shades of gray....like a colorless winter sky before a rain or freshly poured cement. Then there are times when I get a hankering for color....lots of color....a great big, mouth-watering heaping plateful of super-saturated color. Yummeeeee!
